Imagine a room filled with hundreds of handmade creations by local artists and crafty imagineers.  That is precisely what you will find at Shake Rag Alley‘s annual “Sweetheart Art Sale” taking place this weekend in Mineral Point.

The cards are little works of art constructed with a fascinating combination of textures and doo-dads.   For example, the Valentines shown above and the one below were made with Tyvek® — that indestructible material used to make large first-class envelopes.

Demonstrations will take place both days.  A suggested $2 donation will treat you to homemade baked goods, hot cocoa, coffee and punch.

Proceeds benefit the upkeep of Shake Rag Alley’s enchanting grounds – where everyone is always welcome.
