In Mineral Point, a happening place to be on Father’s Day is the Iowa County Airport for the annual Fly-In Breakfast. You get to look at some cool airplanes, have a good breakfast, and support the Hodan Center – one of the finest organizations in town.

It’s a sleepy little airport except for the annual Fly in Breakfast and that time a few years ago when a guy was busted flying in with over $500,000 of marijuana. The airport’s initials are MRJ, but I’m sure that’s just a coincidence. (Note, the picture above is not that guy.)

Breakfast is $9 and is served 7am-noon. If you don’t have a plane, you can drive there.
