What are you doing on Sunday? If you have time, head down to Alley Stage’s first ever all day Folk Music Festival, Sunday August 4th. Not only can you listen to 7 different folk musicians throughout the course of the day, but there will be folk dancers from Folklore Village and a folk jam on the green. If you don’t have an instrument – no worries! You can make one while you’re there!! Bring the kids.
Here’s the line-up for Alley Stage – with links to let you sample some of their music:
11 am – Taku Ronsman
12:15 – Cajun Strangers
1:30 – Skip Jones
2:45 – Tani Diakite
4:00 – The Melon Heads
5:15 – No Name Stringband
6:30 – Ken Lonnquist
This is a casual event and you’re free to come and go (like some of the people in the video links above).
Gray Dog Deli and the Red Rooster will be on site, so you can buy some food and have a picnic on the grounds.
