Tomorrow night, the Mineral Point Opera House is the place to be. Eve Studnicka‘s much anticipated documentary about Mineral Point, OF SOME FAIR PLACE, will be screened for the first time. Here’s a link to the 2-minute trailer.
A special short film (11 minutes) called WHILE IT LASTS will be shown beforehand. It features the words and work of Mineral Point artist and collector, Jamie Ross. The film will be screened multiple times during the Driftless Film Festival. WHILE IT LASTS is by Madison filmmaker (and elementary school teacher) Marc Kornblatt.
