It’s another event-filled summer weekend in Mineral Point. Start early with free ice cream, and finish up a poem.
Tonight and tomorrow are your last chances to see “Motherhood Out Loud” at Alley Stage. Director Terry Kerr, whose credits include a 12-season-stint at American Players Theatre, describes the theme of the play: “Motherhood is both universal and very personal. In these monologues and scenes … we recognize ourselves (and our mothers) in each. And yet each story of struggle, doubt, triumph and joy is as unique as our own.”
What people are saying:
- “Very emotional yet funny at the same time – very true to life – to my life experiences.”
- “What an amazing cast. I can tell that the play is really well-written, but the actors absolutely steal the show!”
- “This is the best thing I have seen at Alley Stage!”
“Motherhood Out Loud” runs tonight and tomorrow at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for students, and are available at the door or at Brown Paper Tickets.
