The Opera House kicks off Mineral Point’s jam-packed Fourth of July weekend with a performance by Danika Holmes on Thursday, July 3. The singer-songwriter has toured all over the U.S. and just released her acoustic album, “Balance.” She has been called a “true American talent” and a rising star, but take a listen for yourself.

Says Emmy award-winning songwriter Trey Bruce: “In Nashville, you have to stand in a long line as a new artist and do something fresh. I’ve seen Danika and Jeb play a few times around town and I’m always struck by her voice and her uniqueness in phrasing and especially tone. She’s a captivating singer in a truly soulful duo.”

– Danika will be accompanied by masterful guitarist Jeb Hart. The show starts at 7:30 p.m. July 3. Tickets are $12 in advance at Brown Paper Tickets and at Berget’s Jewelers, $15 at the door.
