Here’s the weekend line-up:
There will be an encore showing of the Driftless Film Festival hit, Keep on Keepin’ On. Here’s a link to the trailer. Show begins at 7 pm.
Friday, November 21st
Friday night, like all Friday nights, the place to be for live music is the Gray Dog Deli. Scott Stieber performs at 8:30 pm.
Saturday, November 22nd
Saturday morning stop in for the last scheduled indoor Farmer’s Market at 114 High Street from 8:30-11:00 a.m.
Saturday night the Opera House will be rocking and rolling with three bands performing to benefit the Mineral Point Stadium Project.
1) The first group, Al Bauman and friends, includes Jean Van Matre on keyboard, and high school students Josh Berg (trumpet), Blake Chambers (bass guitar), Bryce Fitzsimmons (saxophone) and Haakon Schriefer (trombone). The group will be performing classic rock & roll tunes.
2) Next up is Ruckus, Jesse Bauman’s country rock band.
3) And closing out the night is the Driftless Beggars, which includes Matt Sweeney, John Birner, the Gray Dog’s Shannon Williams and MPHS Spanish Teacher Dianna Rogers. They will be playing classic rock/pop covers.
Admission is $15. Tickets are available at Berget Jewelry at the top of High Street, online (click here) or at the door. Show begins at 7:00 pm.
