filmzmp exceeded its financial goal and is good to go.
The group has over seventy members, and will continue to welcome newcomers.
filmzmp will kick off the 2015 season, on Sunday, January 11th, with a screening of “The Auction.” Click here to watch the trailer. Subsequent films will be shown on the second Sunday of every month except for July and December. Social hour with beverages and a snack will begin at 5pm followed by the film at 6pm.

Thanks for your Mineral Point blog. Just thought I’d suggest that, when you’re in need of a subject, you might highlight the Mineral Point Schools scrip program to support local merchants (and others) and, of course, the schools.
I know your usual themes are art and entertainment, but I thought this could be an important source of volunteer funding for the school (though I don’t think this is as well known as it could be). And we know how the schools need funding. (Just in case you’re not aware of the program, though I suspect you are, one buys a gift card for $10 or $25 for use in a preferred store, and 5% of that amount is then donated by the store to the school. ) Just a thought.
