This week artists will descend upon Mineral Point to capture the natural beauty of our town in the snow. It’s Paint the Point -Winter Edition! (Click here to read about the summer edition.)
One of the artists planning to attend is Pamela Ruschman, who explains in this profile why she prefers to paint outdoors in winter.
Starting tomorrow, expect to see artists spread all over town capturing the beauty of winter.
Perhaps they’ll paint some of the snow-covered Little Free Libraries,
Or the snow-covered storefronts,
Or these three pigs.
Whatever they choose to paint, it will be fun to see.
You can view and bid on their finished works of art at the silent auction fundraisers being held this Saturday, February 7, 2015, 10am – 9pm at the Longbranch Gallery and Wantoot.
Thursday night, February 5, 2015, a kick-off party for Paint the Point will be held at the Gray Dog Deli with Aaron and Monica Dunn (of Point Five) performing.
Book one of the unique guest houses and enjoy a wonderful Wisconsin winter weekend in Mineral Point.
