We are happy to pass along this letter from our friends Jennifer DeCoste and Maura Trimble. These two have been involved in many productions with Jennifer showcasing her considerable talents on stage and Maura handling the technical side.
They are in the early stages of forming a new venture and are soliciting help and input from anyone interested. Here’s their letter:
On Monday, February 23 at 7 PM at Tony’s Tap, please join us for a meeting to discuss forming a community-based theatre company in Mineral Point. The goal of this gathering is to determine community interest in such an undertaking and, if the interest in strong enough, to begin the planning process for the creation of a group.
We are looking for people – of all ages, backgrounds, and skills – who share a common love of live theatre. No experience is necessary. This meeting is your chance to help shape a newly forming organization, provide us with constructive feedback, and help build a sustainable model for live theatre in Southwestern Wisconsin.
We hope you will join us. Feel free to share this widely, and if you have any questions, don’t hesitate to ask.
Regards,
Jennifer deCoste & Maura L. Trimble
