Sunday afternoon, February 15, 2015, Mineral Point’s Municipal building celebrated its 100-year anniversary.

One of the highlights of the program was the short film about the Opera House. In case you were not able to attend, here’s a link to that film produced by Anthony Wood.

To appreciate the building as it is now, take a look back at this film created a few years ago by Jim Stroschein when the Opera House was in need of a renovation.

We’re very fortunate to have this wonderful public building for all to enjoy.  As stated in the Stroschein film, “Great cities need great public places.”  The Municipal Building is certainly one reason that Mineral Point is a great city.
