New Shake Rag Alley Jewelry Studio Opens

Beads&BangelsShake Rag Alley is thrilled to leap into the 2015 season with the use of our new, outfitted Jewelry Studio at Smeja’s Studio here in Mineral Point. Though the Studio has already made its maiden voyage, we are excited to really put it to use for Beads and Bangles!

Beads and Bangles is on April 25 and 26 and a few spaces are still available! Choose from twelve introductory level jewelry classes offering a range of techniques and styles from funky to fine. Use this weekend to explore different approaches, learn new skills, network with other jewelry-makers, and leave with a lot of new ideas and jewelry. Come for the weekend and take several classes. Check out the line-up of workshops:

Saturday morning:
Enameling on Embossed Copper with Leslie Perrino

Saturday afternoon:
Junk Drawer Charms with Sharon Stauffer
Silver Band Rings with Leslie Perrino

Sunday morning:
Hammered Copper or Brass Wire with Judy Sutcliffe
Wire Basics-Findings with Cheryl Smeja
Silver Metal Clay Earrings with Sherry Viktora

Sunday afternoon:
Working with Steel Wire with Deb Donaghue
Textured Metal Dog Tag Necklace with Kay Rashka
Silver Metal Clay Bracelet with Sherry Viktora
