“Paint the Point” – Watch artists painting en plein air throughout the day and into the night for Thursday nights Nocturne Event.
Friday, August 7th
All Day – “Paint the Point” continues with over 50 artists painting pictures to be auctioned on Saturday
1:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. – WI High School Regional Rodeo at the Iowa County Fairgrounds in Mineral Point
8:30 p.m. – Musical performance by Dr. Paul Biere & Yvonne McIntyre at the Gray Dog Deli
Saturday, August 8th
8:30 a.m. – 11:00 p.m. – Mineral Point Farmers Market at Water Tower Park
All day – “Paint the Point” Watch artists finish their projects and then bid on finished pieces at silent auctions from 10 a.m. – 7 p.m at the Longbranch Gallery, Wantoot Gallery and 103 Commerce Street, and 2 p.m. – 7 p.m. at the Green Lantern Studio
9:30-3:30 Dairyland Dare – 1000+ bike riders peddle through Mineral Point.
12:00 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. – Live music in Library Park – Dan Libby and Jim Brunett (12-2:30), and Scott Stieber and Don Myers (2:30-5pm)
1:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. – WI High School Regional Rodeo continues at the Iowa County Fairgrounds in Mineral Point.
4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. – First Annual Mineral Point Football Event
5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. – The Pear will be open late and serving sweet summer treats.
9:00 p.m. – Shannon Williams and Rubilly Wilson perform at Tequila Point.
Sunday, August 9th
12:00 p.m. – 3:30 – WI High School Regional Rodeo continues at the Iowa County Fairgrounds in Mineral Point.

Tour the Mineral Point Railroad Museum in Wisconsin’s oldest surviving railroad depot. Thursday-Saturday 10-4, Sunday noon-4
Tour Pendarvis – one of only a dozen designated Wisconsin Historical Sites in the State
Daily 10-5 pm
Take a class at Shake Rag Alley Center for the Arts. If classes are already full, tour the grounds and see what’s happening there.
