The Shake Rag Alley Fairies are busy at work this week prepping their homes for the annual Tour of Fairy Homes at Shake Rag Alley this weekend. On Saturday and Sunday, May 28 and 29, 2016, from 9am-5pm, stop on down to Shake Rag Alley and stroll through the grounds for a special Tour of Fairy Homes!

One story, two story, bistros, nests and more! Come explore the Fairy-sized dwellings scattered around the charming grounds of Shake Rag. Did you know that Fairies are often spotted near a ring of rocks, springs, and hills? No wonder the fairy-folk seem to love the grounds of Shake Rag so much! Be sure to keep your eye out for these things when you visit for the tour this weekend!

The self-guided tour is free for children 11 and under. The price of admission is $5 for everyone else. You can bid on the homes in a silent auction or build your own for $20. You can also decorate a Fairy Wand ($3/wand) using sparkly thingamabobs from the Shake Rag vault.

And, don’t miss the returning nighttime spectacle, the Moonlight Tour and Cocktail Party. On Saturday evening, May 28, 2016, from 8-10:00 p.m., the fairies will light up their homes allowing you a special enchanting peak inside. Special Fairy Cocktails in light-up champagne flutes will be served. ($5 admission, cocktails not included.)
