Friday, June 17th
8 p.m. Live music performed by The Acoustic Demolition Team at Gray Dog Deli
Saturday, June 18th
8:30-11 a.m. Mineral Point Farmers Market at Water Tower Park
10 a.m.-2 p.m. Brat Sale at Point Foods -622 Dodge St (Proceeds will go to support local programs such as the EMS, Fire Department, Mineral Point Library, and Odd Fellows Museum.)
9 a.m.-4 p.m. Garden Tour and, Garden Art and Plant Sale at Shake Rag Alley. Some of Mineral Point’s most beautiful gardens will be open for this tour. In addition, Shake Rag will be having a plant and garden art sale featuring one-of-a-king patio and garden art by Shake Rag instructors and area artisans.
Opening of DeeConstruct at 214 High Street. Stop by and welome Dee and Joel Hooks and check out all reconstructed, repurposed creations that Dee has been working on. Dee and Joel (who we first wrote about in October of 2014) have been working hard to renovate their building to get it ready for business.
5-8 p.m. Hope Lutheran Fish Boil – 555 Commerce Street
7-9 p.m. Come to Pendarvis’ Midsummer Spirits and Bonfire to hear stories about the spirits of the supernatural and mythological worlds while you finish your evening beside a crackling bonfire.
6-9 p.m. Point Five concert at Barn 23
Sunday, June 12th
1-4 p.m. View the Great Lakes and Small Streams Exhibit on loan at the Old Bank building on the Corner of High and Chestnut. This exhibit is on loan from the Wisconsin Historical Society, is brought to you by the Mineral Point Historical Society, and runs from June 6-19.
Ongoing Activities Throughout this Weekend and Beyond
Tour the 1868 Gundry House at Orchard Lawn, Friday through Sunday 1-5 pm.
Tour the Mineral Point Railroad Museum in Wisconsin’s oldest surviving railroad depot. Thursday-Saturday 10-4, Sunday noon-4.
Tour Pendarvis – one of only a dozen designated Wisconsin Historical Sites in the State
Daily 10-5 pm.
Take a class at Shake Rag Alley Center for the Arts. If classes are already full, tour the grounds and see what’s happening there.
